The pond outside our place in West Seattle froze over. Geese walking across the frozen surface is much better than young kids running across the surface. Some parents don’t understand the fact that Seattle rarely reaches cold enough temperatures to freeze ponds. If a pond does freeze over, there is a very high chance that the surface area towards the middle is not at all suitable to move across.
